“Big time beta” is just a (debatably) cute way of calling attention to the fact that this theme is a work-in-progress. I’m teaching myself WordPress theming, CSS3, JQuery and HTML5 on this site, so there will be times when things look weird, times when things don’t seem to work right, and so forth. All part of the learning process.
